Game Two REMAX Softball 2018!

Game two of the 2018 Spring League was last night and needless to say it was an interesting one. We took on the GR Patriots, the first inning started with us up to bat and we had a rough start with no runs scored, and only letting four people get up to bat. We took the field and had Scott Parm on the mound and boy was he throwing some heaters; they scored one run in the first and we headed back up to bat. Despite all the trash talk and threats coming from their bench we held them to that one run while scoring 10 of our own: “SCOREBOARD”. The rain was coming so the umpires made the decision to let them play offense twice in a row counting as their 6th and 7th inning. It was 10-1 with two outs and they hit a home run scoring two runs. That rally was short lived as Chase Pike knocked down a ground ball and threw out a runner at first to end the game. Player of the game was Dan DeWaal who had multiple amazing scoops on first base bailing us out of sticky situations! That puts our record to 2-0, see you next week May 21st at 6:30pm vs the same team, GR Patriots.
