Grand Canyon in the Winter | Video

Lets go see the Grand Canyon! Wait, what is it like in the winter? It is Arizona. Well, January 2019 had record snow while we were there!

We hiked the Bright Angel Trail
Difficulty: Strenuous
Distance: 15.6 miles, round-trip
Hiking Time: 2–3 Days
Elevation Change: 4,285 feet

Now we only hiked down a few miles and back up, due to weather and time restraints, I would love to go back and do the whole thing! A couple we met on the trail was hiking down to the bottom and staying overnight. Regardless the fact there was a foot of snow! I loved the sound of this adventure but maybe next time!

Grand Canyon is amazing! I can’t wait to go back in the warmer weather and check out more of the trails!  Until next Adventure, Mark Deering
