Chattooga White Water Rafting | Section 4 Five Falls
The adventure team went down to Long Lake SC and attempted section 4 of the Chattooga River! We would consider ourselves experienced white water rafters, but the Chattooga gave us a challenge and topped our previous experiences! The company Wild water mention in their marketing that section 4 is for the experienced and adventurous rafters! See it said “Adventurous!” that is us! If you are looking to book your trip visit
Wild water White Water Rafting Guides
Our section 4 trip included lunch and nice breaks from the action where you could build the anticipation of what was to come! The guide service also stopped at a great waterfall location to grab some photos.
Class IV rapids are strung together over a 1/4 mile gorge, where the river drops more than 75 feet through Entrance, Corkscrew, Crack-In-the-Rock, Jawbone, and Sock’em Dog
Watch the video for the rest of the experience! Amazing trip!
Part of our adventure included a trainee that made a couple mistakes and almost had us dumped out. See the save in the video. We don’t blame you buddy, got to start somewhere!
There is the Chattooga Section 3 on the river that is described as only moderate (vs strenuous) and beginner friendly if you want to start there! There is even a Chattooga Mini trip for beginners.
